"Los Canales" is a journey through the canals and jungles of Caribbean Coast. I spent 2 days bringing supplies to villages on these canals and visited the remote town of Tortuguerro. The beach at Tortuguero is the largest nesting site for sea turtles in the Caribbean. Los Canales

Cahuita is one of the smallest national parks, but the most exotic and tropical. Palm trees line the white beaches and a coral reef is thriving with multi-colored tropical fish. The hills of misty and cloudy rainforest are a backdrop while howler and spider monkeys fill in the scenery. Cahuita

The concluding composition is called"Train to Limon" and is a portrayal of the train ride from the capital of San Jose to the Caribbean coastal town of Limon. This ride was once considered one of the most scenic train rides in the world: the scenery consisted of coffee plantations, villages, rivers, mountains and jungles. Because of an earthquake, this jungle train no longer exists. Train to Limon

Reviews of Distant Latitudes
"Bob Seawick produces his version of jazz/rock oriented electronic music. The combination of influences is tight, progressive, interesting and exciting; the music moves and changes rather than remains static."
