The conception of Bob Seawick's most recent CD project, Distant
Latitudes, was inspired by his expeditions through the rainforests
of Costa Rica. Bob was aware of the deforestation of the tropical
rainforests and went to Costa Rica to photograph and research its
diverse and extensive National Park system.
Bob Seawick is a keyboardist/composer/producer with deep-seated jazz,
rock, classical , and blues roots . In his live shows, Bob utilizes
a full multimedia format including original photography that is projected
onto a large screen while he performs compositions on various electronic
and acoustic instruments from his newest CD, Distant Latitudes.
He has performed concerts at Princeton, Wake Forest and Drew Universities
and he was also featured in Fortune Magazine and CNN. Proceeds from
all of his shows went to the Monteverde Conservation League for rainforest
purchase, preservation and protection.
